Ammonite Fossil & Rainbow Moonstone Necklace – Black Rutile Quartz & Copper Chain

$55

A natural Ammonite fossil paired with a faceted Rainbow Moonstone, electroformed in copper and suspended from a half–Black Rutile Quartz beaded chain and half soldered copper chain.

Ammonites were marine animals with coiled external shells, similar to the modern nautilus. They lived during the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods—an era spanning roughly 140 million years—leaving behind beautifully patterned fossils that offer a glimpse into ancient oceans.

This piece measures approximately 1.5″.

About Electroforming:

Electroforming is a slow, intentional process in which copper is grown around natural materials using electricity and time. Because the metal forms organically, each piece may show subtle variations or small, perfect imperfections. Copper will naturally deepen in color over time, adding to the character of the piece.
