Mountain Hollow
Agatized Turitella Shell - Morocco
$25
This fossil gastropod shell has been naturally replaced by chalcedony, preserving the original spiral form while transforming the shell into stone. Often described as “agatized,” the replacement material here is carnelian-colored chalcedony, giving the fossil its warm amber-brown translucence.
This specimen has a compact spiral form with pronounced whorls and rich amber-brown coloration.
