Mattie Rose Templeton is a self-taught artist born and raised in rural Maine. Inspired by the natural world, her work explores our connection to nature—its beauty, fragility, and the responsibility we share to protect it. Her imaginative upbringing off-grid and surrounded by books shaped her love of storytelling through art. Today, her work reflects the rich artistic influences of Santa Fe, New Mexico, where Spanish American and Native American traditions continue to inform her creative voice.
