Labradorite Mini Free Form

Labradorite, named for Canada’s Labrador Peninsula where it was first identified in 1770, is a feldspar mineral known for its iridescent play of color called labradorescence.

This optical effect reveals vivid flashes of blue, green, gold, and occasional red or violet tones as light moves across the surface. Fun fact: a Finnish variety discovered in the 1940s displaying the full color spectrum is known as Spectrolite.

These multicolored specimens weigh between 45g for the smallest and 125g for the largest.
